The King Suite was spacious with large, comfortable bedrooms that made it easy to relax during a chilly weekend. Mornings were enjoyable in the peaceful setting, perfect for a family stay.
The common area in the suite struggled to stay warm, even with the chilly temperatures outside, which made it less inviting for hanging out. A pellet stove or wood fireplace would definitely enhance the experience. Additionally, breakfast could use more variety, and the absence of a toaster made it inconvenient for enjoying bagels. The lack of sufficient heating in the common area and the need for some updates in amenities slightly detracted from the stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The grounds were beautiful, with a charming century-old barn that added character. Our kids loved exploring the outdoor games, and we appreciated the library for some cozy, family reading time. Plus, our pets felt right at home too!
My kids wished for better access to the tents.

The cabin was surrounded by woods, super cozy with a fireplace. Hot tub was a major plus! Breakfast was simple but tasty with good coffee. The innkeeper was really attentive, even mailed back my husband's glasses later. Ample hot water for showers too!

I stayed in the King Room, Van Horne Room for one night. The bed, bedding, and pillows were super comfy, which made for a great night's sleep. The staff was friendly but the restaurant was closed, and we didn't find out until after arriving. This was a bummer since we had to find dinner elsewhere.
